Força Koeman
Ronald Koeman will be flying back to his great love, FC Barcelona, on the 18th of August. And we’re coming along. It is the beginning of the documentary series Força Koeman. A series that provides an exclusive and rare perspective on the life of a topcoach during the biggest challenge of his career.
We experience the hectic surrounding the biggest coach transfer of 2020 from the inside, we follow Koeman during his first El Clasico as a coach and experience the turbulent month of December. We see how his family sympathizes, how star of the Dutch National team Memphis Depay experienced Koeman’s departure from the team and how Frenkie de Jong gets taken under Koeman’s wing, similar to how Cruijff once did with Koeman.
Captains Studio made the three-part series in collaboration with Koeman’s management Wasserman. The launch of Força Koeman also meant the start of the new Captains label, Captains Studio. Captains Studio focuses on high-end documentaries and non-scripted formats for (non-)linear television, streaming services and other digital platforms.
